• If it has to do with making pictures dance around, we do it. Post Production is our specialty and with decades of editing, audio mixing, and motion graphics we’ve done it all. Corporate communications are our main focus, but we’ve done a ton of local and national ads, sports, cooking shows, trade show booth and signage content, large venue multi-screen sizzles and a whole lot more.

We also have extensive experience in all the logistics of production. We’ve planned and managed entire productions large and small, as well as producing, directing and writing. Whether handling and entire project from start to finish, or filling a specialty role to complete your existing team, we’re here for it.

  • In a word? Flexibility.

Every situation is different. Every client and message, too. We know the process and we always keep an eye on the bigger picture and the minute details.

Getting to know our clients, listening to their needs and understanding their specific challenges, is our priority. That way, we can put our experience and abilities to work for you in the most efficient and effective way possible.

We have decades-long relationships with many of our clients. Being part of your team is what we’re about.

  • We’re a collection of employees and trusted contractors that have worked together for a very long time. Continuity from project-to-project is a huge asset, and knowing who you’re dealing with, and having people who know you, is key to those long lasting relationships we foster.

Sadly, nobody is an absolute expert at everything. That’s why we have worked hard to build relationships with specialty contractors that do those tricky niche jobs better than the rest. We can pair your project with the exact people who are best suited to it. It keeps costs down, quality up, and headaches at bay for all of us.

  • SteevCo was started by, and you had better sit down for this… Steve Miller over 25 years ago.

(No, not that Steve Miller, though he does love the other Mr. Miller’s music and has probably heard whatever joke you might be thinking of right now.)

Starting in broadcast television and moving to on to advertising and corporate production, he held several creative, technical, and management roles for other companies before becoming a freelance editor/producer in 1997. Needing to choose a name for his business, and never one to take these things too formally, he came up with SteevCo. The double “e” felt very “dot-com” at the time. This was 1997 after all. He also assumed that he’d change it to something more conservative/respectable in the future.

Amazingly, people actually liked it. Logos, t-shirts, and promotional coffee mugs followed. Also, he kept building personal relationships with a growing group of clients, many of which still flourish to this day, so it just felt right to have his name in there.

Steve is still the owner of the company, and despite it growing beyond just a single person freelancing his way through the Bay Area video community, he’s still an active part of every project and every client relationship. He wouldn’t have it any other way.

Plus, well, we already printed the t-shirts and mugs, so…

  • There is nothing worse than looking at somebody’s reel and asking yourself, “This is pretty and all, but what does this have to do with my project?”. Everybody’s needs are different. Everybody’s tastes are different. Yes, we have some very flashy things that we’re very proud of, but we’d rather show you something specific to what you’re looking to produce.

Having been in business for 25+ years we have literally hundreds of examples of pretty much every kind of project. We would much rather curate some links for you to give you things that apply to your situation and budget, specifically.

Also, working primarily in the corporate world, we are constantly navigating a sea of NDAs and confidentiality contracts that are as complex as they are intimidating. Though our clients love our work, they generally don’t love it being shown out of context to the general public on a website they don’t control. Therefore, we don’t publish our client’s projects publicly. When you decide to work with us, we’ll do the same to respect your privacy.

Fill out our contact form and let us know what you’re looking for. We will be happy to send you cleared, confidential examples that are targeted to your needs.
